Online Seminar: How to Care for Patients with Full-Arch Implant Dentistry

According to the American College of Prosthodontists, more than 40 million Americans are missing teeth (edentulous). The impact of edentulism on oral and general health can lead to physical, psychological, and social disabilities. Advancements in surgical and restorative dentistry have revolutionized the dental profession with the advent of implant dentistry. Dental implants can restore facial appearance, speech, eating ability, and overall quality of life, and have become the standard of care for the replacement of missing teeth.

This exciting course will give dental hygienists the knowledge and confidence they need to safely and effectively meet the needs of the edentulous population. Case studies will be reviewed in pre-surgical, post-surgical, and final restorative phases, with a focus on clinical and patient approaches to preventive care.
