Online Seminar - Oral & Systemic Disease Connection & Using Bloodwork Results

Seminar Description

Today dentistry is much different than what it was just a couple of decades ago. The procedures, techniques, and even patients seen have changed. People are living longer with the advances in medical science, techniques, and treatments. Because of this, living longer, more older patients with chronic diseases are being seen. Not recognizing these changes and making adjustments in treatment can lead to serious consequences. Many of these chronic medical problems can alter routine dental treatment. Getting blood work and understanding the results can be a useful diagnostic tool for evaluating and identifying certain diseases and making an accurate diagnosis. This presentation will provide information on common chronic diseases and use blood work to identify them. Learn More.
