Course Description:
This comprehensive course is designed for internationally trained dentists seeking to understand the complexities of licensure and advanced education pathways in the United States. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the various licensure pathways available, including the distinctions between International Dentist Programs (IDP), Specialty Residency Programs, and Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) or General Practice Residencies (GPR).
Educational Objectives:
List and describe at least three distinct pathways to dental licensure in the United States
Compare and contrast International Dentist Programs (IDP), Specialty Residency Programs, and Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) or General Practice Residencies (GPR)
